Questions you might have
Where is my data stored? Can you see it?
Everything is stored in your own private iCloud database and uses your iCloud storage. We run no servers and can’t see any of your content. Text is end-to-end encrypted, too.
Can I use it without iCloud?
Yes. Without iCloud, your moments are kept on this iPhone only, and the app will remind you they’ll be lost if you delete it. Once you sign in to iCloud, local data is uploaded automatically.
What happens to my moments if Pro ends?
Everything stays — you can view, edit and export it. New items simply follow the free limits again. Timelines and moments per timeline are counted separately, so timelines with room left can keep growing.
Can I export my data?
Yes, and it’s always free. You get a ZIP with every original photo, video and voice note, plus your text as JSON and readable Markdown.
Which devices are supported? Is there an Android app?
HoMoment runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later, and syncs across iPhones on the same Apple ID. There’s no Android app; iPad and Mac versions are planned.
Can I record together with my partner or family?
Shared timelines are in the works. You’ll be able to share a single timeline with a partner or family while your private timelines stay private.
